EpiPrep™ Patent Is Issued

EpiPrep™, CLXO’s proprietary drug delivery system for epi-on cross-linking, is now patented. The European Patent office issued Patent No. 3122296, “Opthalmic treatment solution delivery devices and delivery augmentation methods” on October 17, 2018. The patent claims the sponge system used for application of RiboStat™ photosensitizer drug in EpiSmart™ cross-linking. These sponges were design to ensure rapid, uniform, trans-epithelial loading of RiboSmart, ensuring reliable epi-on crosslinking.
